💜Week One - 2025!💜

Highlight of the Week: I would have to say the learning I have taken from my Tatton Park 5k has been invaluable. I pushed my limits really really hard in this race so much so it actually increased my running fitness according to my Coros Watch!

As my coaches told me afterwards, it is good to push your limits, try different tactics and when I hit a similarly hard level in a race, I will know I can hold on until the end which is a huge mental win.

A self care positive: I have loved getting into the routine of using a skincare set gift I was given by my family from Charlotte Tilbury. I had heard amazing things about her skincare and make-up and I had a lipstick of hers already so I was excited. The feel of the toner, serum, moisturiser and oil is just divine - really nourishing and silky.

Something to think about: You are only one chat with a friend, a nap, a brew, a run or a chocolate away from a good mood! And don't give up on a goal you can't go a minute without thinking about!

Favourite Snack of the Week: It is still post Christmas so I am going with the snacks I have been finishing off - Celebrations Maltesers and Galaxy Caramels, Cadbury Hero Dairy Milk, Dairy Milk Caramel, Wispa and Crunchie Bits and my white chocolate Lindt balls! I also loved that Dad shared the Christmas cake I had made for him - it was absolutely delicious and really sweet!🎂🎂 He deserves the world though! And I did really appreciate the gorgeous little Tatton Park cupcake after my race too!! Thank you Run through!👀😀💙

Favourite Session: It will be the Thursday hard paced 2 x 1km reps in the frost this week watched on by the horses!🐎🐎 There was neigh-way of getting away from me!😂😜 I'll see myself out...

Reflection: Life is too short so value yourself fully, go for what you deserve in life and surround yourself with good people!!

Running Lesson: Start strong in races, but not so strong you bottom out with nothing left to give in the second half!

Something I enjoyed this week: Going to the Cryo Clinic and using their Normatec compression boots! My legs get heavy and have poor circulation so one go in them and they sort my legs right out to being nice and airy again!
